Kingsview Safaris is owned and operated by Jono and Justine McHugh. Your time spent with them will be one of personalised and exclusive service, a warm and welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail surpassed by none. Ensuring your time in Africa will be cherished forever is what they strive to achieve through Kingsview Safaris.
But who are they?
Born and bred in South Africa, Jono has been involved in wildlife since he was a child. Soon after completing his Honours Degree in Wildlife Management from the University of the Free State he was inducted into the Golden Key Honour Society.
He obtained his Professional Hunters license and has gained much of his experience through hunting extensively in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.
He moved with Justine to Northern Botswana and spent many wonderful years running a lodge in the Okavango Delta.
He has since returned to his roots and with his love for hunting and conservation created Kingsview Safaris.
With farming pedigree in his blood, Jono also enjoys developing his stud Dorper sheep flock, Angus cattle and helps manage the family farm in producing Protea flowers for export to Europe.
Born and raised on a farm deep in the mountains of the Winterberg range, Justine has only ever known the outdoors. Justine completed her studies at Stellenbosch University obtaining a BSc. Honours Degree in Conservation and Ecology.
Without wasting any time she jumped straight into conservation and worked as a Volunteer Coordinator for a private game reserve in the Eastern Cape. During her time she was instrumental in leading a team of volunteers to help rehabilitate Rhinos that had survived poaching attacks.
Justine moved with Jono to the Okavango Delta in Northern Botswana to manage a lodge.
